Berkley® FireLine® is a thermally-fused braid using microfused PE fibers, making it the strongest fiber - per diameter - ever created. Because of this exceptional strength, cutting Berkley® FireLine® requires a sharp cutting tool. You can use Beadalon Designer Scissors or the WildFire Cord Cutter to achieve clean cuts and easily seal the ends after knotting. To make threading easier, flatten the end of Berkley® FireLine® with Chain Nose Pliers before threading it into a needle.
Using size 12 or 13 needles is recommended for the 0.005 diameters, while a size 10 needle is ideal for the 0.006 and 0.007 diameters.
