Berkley® FireLine® is a thermally-fused braid using microfused PE fibers, making it the strongest fiber - per diameter - ever created. Because of this exceptional strength, cutting Berkley® FireLine® requires a sharp cutting tool. You can use Beadalon Designer Scissors or the WildFire Cord Cutter to achieve clean cuts and easily seal the ends after knotting. Flatten the end of Berkley® FireLine® with Chain Nose Pliers before threading it into a needle to make threading easier.
Using size 12 or 13 needles is recommended for the 0.005 diameters, while a size 10 needle is ideal for the 0.006 and 0.007 diameters.
