Steel Bench Block with Soft, Removable Base
Designed for Metal working - Steel bench blocks are an essential tool used for stamping, flattening, forming, chasing, or hammering on metal. This block features a 3 inch diameter round shaped steel block with chrome-plated mirror finish. The block comes with a cushioned base made of a soft plastic sleeve. This sleeve helps to provide noise reduction, rebounds the force of hammering (helping to achieve a more accurate impression when stamping on metal) by cutting down movement of the block on the work surface. This soft sleeve can be removed from the base if needed.
